To View Your List of Deficiencies

The deficiency worklist allows you to select the type of deficiencies you want to view: Signatures, Dictation, Missing Text. The total number of deficiencies for each is provided following the category.

To view your list of deficiencies, do the following:

On the Deficiency Types panel, click on Signatures, Dictation, or Missing Text.
From the Deficiency Worklists panel, do one of the following:

To view only deficiencies assigned to you, select your individual worklist.
To view deficiencies assigned to your entire group, select your group's worklist.

By default, the list is sorted by deficiency status, with most severe first. Then they are sorted by admission date for the encounter, most recent first. You can click on the column heading to sort the list by that item, for example, Patient name, or Encounter number. Click again to reverse the order. The system remembers your sort selection during the login session.

IMPORTANT: If you selected another sort, click on the Status column to see the most severe deficiencies. Completion of deficiencies is time-sensitive.

Continue by choosing one of the following options:

To view other categories of deficiencies, click the Signatures, Dictation, or Missing Text option button.
To begin to process deficiencies from the worklist, see:

To Process Signature Deficiencies

To Select and Complete Dictation Deficiencies

To Process Missing Text Deficiencies

To view deficiencies not on the current page, click the Next button. See About Worklist Pages.
To print your list of deficiencies, click the Print button. See To Print Your List of Deficiencies.

To exit the completion function, click another module option.

When you select deficiencies to process (or click Process All) the specified deficiencies are loaded in the viewer in the same order that they appear in the worklist.

Note: If you have no current deficiencies, the system displays There are no deficiencies of this type for each category (Signature, Dictation, and Missing Text).
