In previous versions of the Deficiency Worklist and Assignment Worklist modules, the system displayed all deficiencies or assignments for a single worklist in one list. In production systems, the number of items in the list can be in the hundreds or thousands. Displaying and refreshing these lists causes delays because of the amount of data being transferred between the server and the workstation's browser.
The system administrator can configure the number of items (assignments or deficiencies) displayed on a worklist 'page' for the enterprise. ('Page' refers to the number of items that are displayed without having to request another page of items.) You now click the Next button to navigate to the next page of items. You can click the Previous button to return to a prior page.
In the status bar at the bottom of the worklist, the system displays the number of assignments currently displayed on the page, using the format: n1 - n2 of x assignments.
An example might be: 1 - 100 of 188 assignments. This means the range of assignments displayed on the current page is 1 to 100. The total number of assignments in the worklist is 188.See Business rules for worklist pages for information on how worklist pages function based on your actions.
