Dictation deficiencies typically do not have a single document that contains a deficiency. Rather, a document is missing from the chart. The viewer in dictation processing mode displays the document type of the deficiency document. (For example, 'Dictation deficiency for Operative Report.') You can click the Documents tab in the Content panel to view the list of documents for the encounter. This allows you to research the chart and supply the missing document.
From the document image viewer, you can complete, skip, or decline each dictation deficiency. Optionally, you can select and decline dictation deficiencies from the worklist without invoking the viewer.
