To Display the Content Panel
To display the Content panel, complete the following steps:
- Select the Content button or option from the View menu.
In the Content panel, select any of the tabs described in Content Panel Tab Options.
- To close the Content panel, click the close button

Content Panel Functions by Viewer Type
Content panel functions depend on the viewer mode you are in. Functions are specific to each of the three main viewer types: Medical Record Viewer/Encounter Viewer, Assignment Viewer, and Deficiency Viewer. The lists below provide the functions for each viewer type.
Medical Record Viewer
- Tabs for Documents (default selection), Patient, Encounter, Bookmarks, and Page (for administrator users)
- Buttons to expand/collapse the document tree, or show/hide versions of documents that have been text edited
- Tabs for the record views you can access
- Global document tree panel
- Document tree panel
- Group By options (Encounter or Document - default); your selection is saved across viewer sessions.
Assignment Viewer
- Assignment tab (default selection) displaying a tree for the document linked to the assignment (if any)
- Tabs for Documents, Patient, Encounter, Bookmarks, and Page (for administrator users)
- Worklist containing the assignment
- Reason for the assignment
Deficiency Viewer
- Deficiency tab (default selection) displaying a tree for the document with the deficiency (signature and missing text deficiencies); dictation deficiencies display the name of the document type with the deficiency
- Tabs for Documents, Patient, Encounter, deficiency information (Def. Info), Bookmarks, and Page (for administrator users)
- Physician assigned the deficiency
- Reason for the deficiency
