Information on the Deficiency Grid

Information included in the worklist for each deficiency can include the items in the following list. Your enterprise can configure the columns that are displayed in the worklist as well as the column sort order. Some items in this list may not be included in your worklist. You can sort the list according to the column by clicking in the column heading; this sort is retained for the login session.

• Select/deselect column: Allows you to click on the individual check boxes to select/deselect individual deficiencies; optionally, the 'select' icon in the column heading selects all deficiencies and the 'deselect' icon deselects all deficiencies. (Process All also selects all deficiencies in the list automatically.)

This icon in the check box indicates the deficiency is checked-out by another physician. A tooltip indicates who has the deficiency checked out.

• Dictation Job ID: If configured for your system, this column allows you to enter job IDs for the dictation deficiencies you are processing.
• Status: Color coded by severity, the status types are: Suspended (black), Pending Suspension (red), Delinquent (yellow), Warning (tan), Incomplete (blue). These colors may be customized for your enterprise.

When you place the mouse pointer over the 'more information' icon , tooltip help provides the assignment date for that deficiency.

• Age of Def (Def Days): The age of the deficiency in days. (Defined by the aging basis.)
• Deficiency Document: The document type that contains the deficiency. When you click this link, the viewer displays the document with the deficiency and allows you to process it.
• Patient: Name; when you click this link, the system displays the Medical Record Viewer. The document tree contains a list of documents for all encounters associated with the MRN. For EMPI (Enterprise Master Person Index) enabled enterprises, displays all records across all facilities.
• MRN: For EMPI-enabled enterprises only; when you click this link, the system displays all records for the facility associated with the current deficiency.
• Encounter: Number of the encounter. When you click this link, the system displays the Encounter Viewer. The document tree contains a list of documents associated with the encounter.
• Facility:
Facility associated with the encounter that has the deficiency.
• Assigned to: Physician assigned the deficiency; helpful when a group worklist is selected on the worklist grid. When you place the mouse pointer over the 'more information' icon, tooltip help provides the relationship of the assigned physician to the patient.
• Admitted: Date of admission.
• Discharged: Date of discharge.
• Diagnosis: Admitting diagnosis. When you place the mouse pointer over the 'more information' icon, tooltip help provides the secondary diagnosis or diagnoses.
• Reason: Reason to explain the origin or reassignment of the deficiency. If the reason is more than three words, when you place the mouse over the 'more information' icon, a tooltip provides the entire text of the reason.
