Auto Logoff time is set in HPF Workstation both at the system level and at the user level. In HPF WebStation, if the system detects no mouse or keyboard activity for the length of time specified for automatic logoff, the system displays a warning message box with a countdown in seconds. For HPF Web modules, the system bases activity on keyboard or mouse actions on the application windows (module pages or the viewer), not for other windows such as the online help pages.
Assignments that are checked out when auto-logoff occurs remain checked out until either you complete them or an administrator user releases them from the workstation.
You can remain logged in by moving the mouse or using the keyboard while the focus is in an application window. (Note that moving the mouse wheel may not reset the inactivity timer.) If logoff takes effect, you are logged out of the application. If you are in the process of entering data or making selections on a dialog box when auto logoff occurs, your changes are lost unless you have specifically saved them with an Apply or OK command.
In HPF Modules for HorizonWP Physician Portal, if you need to step away from the workstation for a short period of time, the system provides a 'privacy suspension' feature. This protects sensitive data from casual observation. Temporary suspension retains your settings and provides an easy route to re-access the HPF Modules by entering only your password.
To suspend your session, click the Suspend button at the top of the window.
