The Signature window allows you to view your list of signature deficiencies or the list for your group.
Access the Signature window from the deficiency worklist.
The following descriptions identify the items on the window, which can include buttons, fields, lists, grids, and links:
Deficiency Worklists |
|
Allows you to select your individual worklist (to process the deficiencies assigned to you) or group worklist (to process all deficiencies assigned to your physician group). |
Deficiency Types Signature option |
|
Displays signature deficiencies based on your user login name (and group association, if applicable). Also provides the number of signature deficiencies, which changes based on your selection of individual or group worklists. |
Deficiency Types Dictation option |
|
Displays dictation deficiencies based on your user login name (and group association, if applicable). Also provides the number of dictation deficiencies, which changes based on your selection of individual or group worklists. See Dictation Window for more information about this option. |
Deficiency Types Missing Text option |
|
Displays missing text deficiencies based on your user login name (and group association, if applicable). Also provides the number of missing text deficiencies, which changes based on your selection of individual or group worklists. See Missing Text Window for more information about this option. |
Total encounters |
|
Displays the number of unique encounters that have signature deficiencies in the list for the page being viewed. This changes based on your selection of individual or group worklists. |
Deficiency list |
|
Displays the list of signature deficiencies. Click here for a list of information displayed with each deficiency type. |
Select/deselect column |
|
Allows you to click on the individual check boxes to select/deselect individual deficiencies to process; optionally, the 'select' icon in the column heading selects all deficiencies and the 'deselect' icon deselects all deficiencies. (Process All also selects all deficiencies in the list.) |
Process |
|
Opens the viewer and displays the first document with a deficiency that you selected from the list. |
Process All |
|
Selects all deficiencies in the list, then opens the viewer and displays the first document with a deficiency. |
Decline |
|
Displays the Decline Deficiencies window; allows you to decline one, many, or all deficiencies selected from the list. |

|
Reformats the list for printing in a new window and displays the standard Print dialog box to submit your print job. |
If you are selecting deficiencies and the 'process' buttons are not in view, you can advance to the top or bottom of the list quickly by pressing the Home or End key. (Doing this avoids having to scroll.)
